Four days to go to the HSRC-USAf Research Awards ceremony

With four days left before the 2021/22 HSRC-USAf Medal for Social Sciences and Humanities Research ceremony, we feature the last group of nominees who combine the last of those in the Established Researchers category with Emerging Researchers and Team Award nominees.  

Of a total of 34 nominees received in the Established Researchers category, we are showcasing the last two, namely: 

In the Emerging Researchers category, the HSRC received six nominees, of whom we are featuring two, below:

The Team Award nominees, of whom the HSRC received four, are represented by one team below:

The year 2022 marks the second year in which Universities SA is collaborating with the Human Sciences Research Council on the Medal for Social Sciences and Humanities research, a project established in 2016 and now in its seventh year. 

The awards ceremony on Tuesday 12 April will be in hybrid format, with physical attendance opened to invited guests only at the Protea Hotel Fire and Ice, in Menlyn, Pretoria.  Other guests will link in virtually via Zoom, for which they need to register prior to the event.
