Six days to go to the HSRC-USAf Research Medals ceremony
The Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) in partnership with Universities South Africa (USAf), will on 12 April 2022 honour scholars and research teams whose studies in Social Sciences and Humanities stood out and demonstrated Engaged Scholarship in 2021.
The awards aim to anchor and celebrate the social sciences’ role in understanding societal issues and informing policy and programmes to improve people’s lives.
The high performers of 2021/22 will be recognised in three categories, namely the Established Researcher category, the Emerging Researcher category and the Team Award category.
With six days left before this prestigious HSRC-USAf ceremony, we introduce the second group of academics nominated for recognition in the Established Researchers category, below.
The awards ceremony on 12 April will be in hybrid format, with physical attendance opened to invited guests only at the Protea Hotel Fire and Ice, in Menlyn, Pretoria. Other guests will link in virtually via Zoom, for which they need to register prior to the event.
